Westin's recent takeover of this "beautiful" neoclassical-style hotel in the business district means the remodeled "spacious" rooms are "ultracool metro Zen" with "comfortable beds" and flat-screen TVs; adjacent to the Miracle Mile shopping district with a free trolley to further retail options at the Village of Merrick Park, it's a good choice for leisurites too, but some say the "unprofessional and slow" service could use an upgrade as well.

The staff was great, very helpful, with the exception of one guy,
I think he was the bell boy or concierge. The rest of the staff was great.

Parking garage is not very convenient.
Somewhat inconvenient lobby on second floor of great old restored Coral Cables building. Staff was helpful, uncomfortable chairs in room. Parking garage, although next door, is somewhat of a chore, recommend doing valet parking, only $2 more. ...read more
